About me

Hi, I'm Kate! I use she/her pronouns.

My bachelor's degree is in Linguistics with a minor in French from Carleton College in Minnesota. In May 2021, I earned my Master's in Instructional Design. I pursued instructional design because I love working with many types of people, get excited by the opportunities technology presents, and feel passionate about making the process of learning as fulfilling as possible.

For the 2019-2020 school year, I taught English in Blois, France with the TAPIF program. I am now based in Meriden, CT, where I am working on creating hybrid courses in Blackboard and Canvas.

When I'm not working, you can find me gardening, playing the piano, or studying a foreign language.
