Web Design

With a solid grasp of basic HTML and CSS, I can quickly create or modify functional and easy to use educational websites.

The Speaker's Toolkit

This instructional website was my first HTML website, created in Summer 2020 when I took IDN 530: Web Design for Instruction. The purpose of this site is to teach the International Phonetic Alphabet, which I believe should be a skillset common to all adult language learners. The construction of this site shows how a basic website can easily host an instructor's content. Read more about the website here.

This project was based on a proposal I crafted during IDN 526: Cognitive Science and Educational Design. Click here to view the full proposal.

Accessibility Toolkit

This digital accessibility toolkit features a curated selection of accessibility tools that would be useful for course designers, students, and instructors working in higher education. For each digital resource, I explain how it supports the Universal Design for Learning framework. It was created for IDN 537: Designing Assistive Learning Technology.
